PvZ lore note
so for a long while I had a nagging feeling that Piltover and Zaun lore have weird inconsistencies like with Warhammer 40k principle for lore, "everything is canon but not everything is true or happened", especially with Arcane. And lo and behold tifo that core writers for the initial champs of the region are also Warhammer 40k writers.
And on closer inspection, I can guess why the region reminds one of Industrial revolution and history in Great Britain. One of them is Tory hating Scot who takes offence when people want game narratives to not engage politics and the other straight up shares opinions that 'not rocking the boat too hard' historically never brought any change.
It explains a lot actually about the vibe of the region.
