tbh all the boss monsters could totally just... disaster movie the earth to death if they wanted to.
tidal waves? gourmand.
hurricanes? ari.
volcanos and earthquakes? trash.
blizzards? nil.
if they ever just decided they had enough of humanity...
they won’t tho. humanity destroys itself on its own. why make the effort?
Not very many of the monsters actively hate humans.
The vast majority fall in the category being weary of them because they know humans like to hunt down monsters and/or humans fucked up the planet.
There’s only a few who’d kill on sight.
Nil pretends she’s one of those but inside she knows human beings are creatures of nuance. Still, she’s damn pissed after all the centuries at what they did to her. She’s aware that what she actually hates is the abusive behavior, not the species.
Tabs actively idolizes humanity to their own detriment.
Trash actually will kill on sight, but they’re too far gone in their own head to tell straight away when a human is presented to them and will believe they’re a monster until they’re given reasons to suspect otherwise.
The Gourmand is widely feared as a sea legend... but will actively recruit human beings of their own free will if they happen to impress him.
