I've decided to refer to the old renfield as Wren because 1) why not, 2) warferret+ren, 3) sounds like "ren" which was their old nickname (this renfield would never call himself "ren")

Renfield is blood bonded to dracula. Wren isn't, they're immune to blood bonds. however they are still loyal to drac because they're a few marbles short

I don't want to rp with any dracula. I should probably put it into the info post lol. this is bc I think dracula should remain a powerful NPC mostly offscreen just like he is in VtM. its like role-playing with god. he's just too big of a figure with too many interpretations.

one thing I'll say that both of them have a relationship with their master that is difficult to describe as purely good or bad. it's definitely dysfunctional but too insane to judge by human standards.

dracula has many servants and he never gets rid or abandons any of them. he hoards them like a carefully curated collection. Once you become a part of it, you will never be abandoned and you will never abandon.

renfield and wren are rivals. but also possibly sometimes lovers. idk I haven't decided yet

renfield is generally pretty pathetic in terms of his romantic life so him hooking up with the worst people imaginable is entirely in-character

Wren's existence is canon but whatever happened in my rp blogs years ago mostly isn't. definitely none of the plots are canon but if any of the old characters remember them, that's cool.

I really like to think of them together as a package because they're so different. they make each other shine, you know 😪
