'VUIT' The number EIGHT translated into Catalan by my friend and fellow artist @lamarchatropical for my upcoming Barcelona street art trip in April. Thanks @lamarchatropical for taking the time to assist me with this project! Though I have yet to research any historical, cultural or spiritual significance to the number eight; it has become a number associated with good fortune, self will/improvement and creative evolution for me. It is the favorite number of my muse, so therefore I adapted it as my favorite number. Since the person I have chosen to find inspiration from throughout the last several months of my life (including my being my sole reason for taking this upcoming trip) has only provided positive change coupled with a massive reawakening my spirit; I will continually include aspects of her life and our relationship into most anything I do artistically for a long time to come. These works are just as much her as they are me. I like to see them as two people speaking through one voice.Though much of this is a personal journey and conversation I am having with a specific person, I hope to see my work approachable and relatable to most anyone to be interpreted however they see fit.
