i’m so glad i decided to make lori an actual character
conversation in the mirror (mason's wife lori had polycystic ovaries)
about lori
she worked at the library
the kids there called her “miss frizzle” because of her cute themed outfits and god bless her she leaned right into it
she had a reading rainbow tattoo on her ankle
her favorite holiday was halloween
she loved to cross-stitch
she and mason fostered pitbulls together and they had one they called “sybil the pibble”
they also had a series of guinea pigs all named after different foodstuffs
she was mixed race & half ashkenazi
her mom is named linda, after my mom
she and mason got married in a botanical garden
EDIT 6/5/17: lori has been retconned because i liked her to much to relegate her to someone’s dead wife! she’s now alive and working at the summerville library near miriam beach
she’s not married to mason, though—not sure what their relationship will be now!
