I COMPLETELY FORGOT WHAT ALLEY CHAT WAS ABOUT. FUCK IT'S SO CUTE. COFFIA AU YORU AND FLOYD FLIRTING BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT SHITTY TEENAGERS. bless me for writing it. LOL.

Basically they're hanging out in a back alley eating food stall takoyaki and Floyd's being a perv trying to convince her to come home with him, again, and she shuts him down HARD.

“I’m done with this, Floyd. Do you know why I won’t have sex with you?”

“Because I keep asking and it makes you feel gross, yea yea, you already said”

“No. Because you don’t respect me when I say no. It’s like I’m not even a person to you! You act as if I’m just some hole to fuck and I am so done with it.”

Floyd realizing that if he wants to actually a relationship with a person he needs to treat them...you know... as a person. Delicious. Someone needs to tell him how it is, and the woman he's after doing it? *chefs kiss* Anyways, I love coffia au more than life itself.

AND UNDER THE SEA. OOOOH this one is Yoru (Loru canon timeline) going to the Coral sea on spring break to explore the sea, and it's the first time she meets mama and papa leech. It goes badly :> Mama leech is a bit salty that it's clear they're into each other but doesn't want one of her only surviving babies to leave the sea for a dumb bird who can't even do anything at all (yoru's completely useless in water cause she can't swim or move around for shit). So it's a bit tense with her refusing to use yoru's name and instead calling her "chicken-chan" (which is yoru's like... trigger nickname she haaaaaaaates it), and her and floyd being dumbasses and flirting in dumbass ways not realizing it's flirting.

“Eeeeeh, you don’t really need to bring anything”

“What if I find the ingredients I’m looking for? Or find a cool rock or something?”

Floyd rolled his eyes and leaned against the door frame groaning. 

“So bring a pouch or something, the Coral Sea isn’t some tropical beach resort. You’ll probably just complain it’s too dark and too cold the whole time anyway”

“Good point, I should bring a jacket…” She smirked at him and it was a second before he realized she was joking. “A flashlight wouldn’t be a terrible idea though…”

“Aha~ Fugu-chan, are you scared of the dark?”

“No, but it’s going to be hard to forage if I can’t see what I’m sticking my hands into”

“And if you’re not careful something could bite your fingers off too” He laughed

YORU FACTS!

she got her unique magic around 5 years old because her only friends were the crows and she wanted to be one so bad it accidentally snapped her eyesight into one. She didn't know what was happening or how to turn it off at first, so overblots shortly after cause her little body can't handle the magic. Crowley steps in and shows her how to use it and actually parents for a bit and tells her she can only do as many crows as she can handle, because he doesn't want to see his little Nugget hurt again.

This one is hard to really pin down since we don't know WHAT crowley is, but I've been using her harpy blood as an excuse for why transformation potions don't work properly on her legs to make her human. Been saying that harpy blood is agressive and is just like ✨no ✨ but if it turns out Crowley is just an actual bird, she's more bird than human anyway, so it's not just harpy blood. This will be TBD, but nothing really changes plot wise. Just gives me an excuse to say other things besides "I dunno... harpy blood?"

Her lowest point in her life is after her second overblot after she lays Mido's egg. She overhears Lilia and Malleus discussing that maybe they should pre-emptively end her internship and send her home and she takes it as that she's no longer wanted/needed and since they were the last pair that she had any hope on (at this point she's broken up with floyd, jade tells her to stop calling, and idia is too busy to take her calls), it completely shatters her and she just sorta... exists... but doesn't eat, talk to anyone, and barely sleeps.

She used to get in fights a lot when she was younger (around 12-13ish) with NRC students, going so far as to break one of their jaws and the student transferred to a different school. After that, Crowley tells her she can't injure his students cause it makes him look bad, so she just keeps to herself and doesn't like being seen cause she knows she'll just get in another fight.

Her first friends are Idia and Ortho, and she would fight the entire world for them. She thinks Ortho should be allowed to blow up the school just once, as a treat. Crowley still says no.

Her favourite staff member is Vargas! He's been training with her for years so she's strong as heck and he poses an actual challenge for her while training/sparring. Plus, he actually like... cares about her physical wellness, so he's kinda like an overbearing fitness dad.

She can talk to birds! Anything in the corvid family is the easiest to understand for her, but any bird she can listen to, even if she finds their birdie accents difficult.

Her favourite class is alchemy and can often be found on top of the bookshelves in the library researching ingredients, or broken into Crewels lab (again) to experiment.

She can't do elemental magic cause uhh... harpy blood? Actually she just doesn't have an affinity for it at all. I have an idea where once she moves to the Briar valley she can do a LITTLE bit because the location has more innate magic everywhere, but even that is like... extreme effort just to light a single candle so she doesn't really bother.

is this too long now? Anyways, her favourite food is chicken but she'll eat nearly anything. Isn't fond of the chewiness of jellyfish but still eats it to spite mama leech who seems to want to test her the first time they meet. They don't really get along.

It takes her until her late 20s to finally stop searching for a solution for her bird parts. Mido hatches when she's 20 and she never wants to make Mido feel bad about her own looks so shuts the fuck up, but the urge to experiment on herself to make herself normal doesn't go away for nearly a decade afterwards.

Hurry” Crowley grabbed her arms, forcing her hands to her cutlery as he whispered frantically in her ear.
