my serious post of the day

I’m a little disgusted by how popular that post praising the female drug lord has gotten. y’all are really so desperate for strong women in positions of power that you’ll look at a woman who literally gets people murdered for a living and go “YAAAAS” and talk about how badass she is? 

most of the gore pics and vids you’ll find on the internet are the work of drug cartels. that photo floating around of the dismembered remains of several people strewn around a playground? cartels. 

there are so many more women you can give credit to for succeeding in male-dominated fields, and I’m not even gonna go into the fact that the selling point of the article was that she was a “kardashian look-alike.” it’s alright for her to run an extraordinarily bloody-handed business if she’s conventionally attractive and does it with a quirky pink automatic?
