After five years of holding it down for New York skaters through the lean months of winter, Skate Night is still going strong giving us all a place to call home during winter. JZ Radical, Sam Parks, Big Jim Moore, & Alex Corporan work hard to put this event together. Presented by adidas and NYSkateboarding.com, every Skate Night is something different, but always feels familiar. It’s like a long running house party with all your best friends.
Not only was this the 5-year anniversary, we also celebrated our good friends Big Jim & Chappy’s birthdays. There’s always the infamous crowd favorite, an ever-changing eating contest alongside JZ’s different games where everyone competes for decks, gear, and other prizes. Luxury Punks treated everyone to a live performance giving Big Jim a little break from his MC duties for a while. Thanks to all the sponsors and everyone who continually makes this night happen, and thanks to Sensei Gallery Bar for hosting. Keep a lookout for the next one coming up in just under two weeks.
