After leaving the historic capital city of Teguise, we climbed up to a panoramic vista overlooking the Valle de las mil palmeras (Valley of a Thousand Palms). We stepped off the bus to complete fog and a chilly breeze. So, I tried the local coffee shot (so sweet!) in Bar Restaurante Los Helechos and quickly the fog cleared out to show the us the view.
The greenest area on the island, even the cacti are covered in lichens!
