my sister and i get along but we still fight like cat and dog and we're not particularly close as we are literally chalk and cheese, we've only told each other secrets once and that was when she texted me drunk saying she liked this guy (who is now her boyfriend of two years) and i texted her drunk coming out to her and telling her i had a girlfriend at the time so yeah, not close

but she just texted me saying "i've just bought you a present, happy Valentine's day" and i'm grinning like a mug, i love when we get along like this because ever since i was younger, i have been convinced that we wouldn't get along when we were adults. i've always wanted to be close to her but we are such polar opposites. but yeah, this is nice and it's really made my day :D
