9:YA, NA or Adult? Why?
I’ve never read New Adult, but I love me some good YA and recently I’ve been reading much more Adult novels as well, which is exciting!
10:Sci-Fi or fantasy? Why?
Personally, I’m much more of a fantasy girl. I love learning about magic systems and the different mythos that authors incorporate into their stories.
11:Classic or modern? Why?
Oh, both! I have an English degree, so I kind of have to appreciate the classics, as I had to read a bunch (and I’m reading Northanger Abbey right now!) But, of course, i love contemporary stories as well!

40:Name one of your favorite books from your teenage years
Just Listen by Sarah Dessen! I still love this book and think about it all the time! Sarah Dessen has remained one of my favorite YA contemporary authors and this is easily my favorite of her books!
47:What do you do to get out of a reading slump?
I don’t force myself to read, even if I feel guilty for not reading for a while. Also, reading faster paced books helps a bunch! I read a non-fiction book recently that I really enjoyed but took awhile to read, for a variety of reasons, and right after I picked up a super fun, fantasy book that I read in about five days, even though it was over twice as long!
