Lost Rewatch: 1x22 Born To Run

Just when the plot starts ramping up, you can always count on a Kate episode to bring it crashing back down

Isn’t everyone interested in the raft? Why is it that when Kate starts asking questions, it’s suspicious? Jack’s been asking questions the whole time!

You know, we’re at Act 3, and I have absolutely nothing to say. I’m just bored

Locke, you were the one who originally told Jack that he was leader, so what’s with this ‘I don’t answer to you’ crap?

Surely Kate would know better than to make the poison that obvious?

Also, surely she would have picked something that wouldn’t be gone in a day

It took forty days for Hurley to accidentally tell someone about Kate being a fugitive?

Overall Review:

You may notice that this write-up is considerably shorter that the others. Well... that’s because I have nothing to say about it. What a nothing episode. Nothing that happens has any consequence. Even Kate being revealed as the fugitive has no lasting impact. I’m glad I’m past this one, it’s just such a slog

Overall Rating: 2.5/10

I mean, you could watch season one without this and all you’d miss is Jack finding out about the hatch, that’s how unimportant it is

I really hate it when characters use vague terms to an old friend to describe something never brought up on screen before like "you know what" to keep the audience in suspense
