When the door of the tomb swings open, your hand instinctively finds Sawyer's. "You sure about this?"
"We've come this far, darlin'. Would be a right shame to turn back now."
"Y-yeah, okay."
One last glance to make sure you're alright, and Sawyer's stepping inside, into the darkness. You follow, a single pace behind him. You can't see anything, letting Sawyer lead you blindly, until-
A piece of the floor gives away from beneath your foot, and you start to plummet into the great unknown.
Immediately, a strong hand wraps round your arm - another steadying you. Somehow, he's managed to catch you. You're suspended in mid-air for just a second, before he's pulling you upwards, against his chest. "Are you okay?"
Chest heaving, you try and ground yourself. "I-I'm fine, James. I'm okay."
Clearly unconvinced, Sawyer's hands roam your arms, checking for injury.
