the whole lost renaissance is so funny to me as a semi-new lost fan bc i had no idea about the renaissance, i started watching it bc my father said to me that he was watching this one show when i was little and he thinks i would like it. long story short i developed an obsession and like a month later the show was on netflix

I'm convinced a side effect of lost being all but erased from the cult classic tv shows megatext is that so many more recent shows blatantly reference it but no one notices, I swear I've never seen a single person talk about it the way people talk about like twin peaks, X files, Buffy, etc. references like the lost references in yellowjackets are honestly slightly egregious, the 100 literally had Henry Ian Cusick in the main cast and the references are frankly beyond egregious but I've never seen a single person mention it it's so funny to me
