Aaron, Ji-yeon are summoned or taken to the island by Hurley Ben and Walt. They are joined by the other children with connections to the island. Charlie Hume, Clementine, David Shephard (because he didn’t just come from nowhere, Kate was pregnant when she left the island) They help solve some mysteries of the island, gaps in knowledge not passed down from Jacob. More Ancient Egyptian lore, I also propose some Romans. There are still at least 2 unnamed Dharma stations, and the arrow could still be expanded on. It ends with Hurley and Ben retiring, Walt taking over, And it eventually passing to Aaron. The child born on the island. Walt is the main character and Micheal is properly redeemed.
The antagonist is of course, the ever votile Island. and a Billionaire who wants to exploit the island so they can be a trillionaire and they don’t care who they have to do to achieve that.
Other notes:
Smaller tighter cast. 15-20 episodes. For continuity, they should film in hawaii.
Actors from the original show are not required to come back, the exception is Jorge, and Emerson. Walt could be recast, but It would be lovely to see Malcolm David Kelly back in the role and fully explore Walt. But it gives the option for dead characters to come back as ghosts. I actually think not seeing Kate, Claire and Sawyer could keep their stories complete and safe. They could be mentioned off screen
Desmond goes go home back to Penny, hopefully the island is done with him, but the island isnt done with Charlie Hume. As the grandson of Charles Widmore he really is a legacy islander. Charlie and Aaron would clash over the leadership of the island.
Zack and Emma from the tail section finally get to go home to their mom. This has nothing to do with the story, but Cindy the flight attendant needs to reveal that at least.
They finally tell us who was shooting at the time traveling Losties on the Outrigger.

Richard and Miles live together in a mansion off island. They can rest.
Kate and Sawyer have a weird relationship where they are together but not, because the other will never replace the ones they lost, but there is still love, and companionship.
Kate and Claire raised Aaron together, he calls them his moms. Maybe they get married.
Ji-Yeon gets closure about her parents, I think growing up she would have been very sheltered from the idea of the island. Give her the arch that Charlotte deserved.

anyways as like, an opener, i really love lost aus in concept because lost has a pretty defined world, plot, and mythology, but i feel like all three of those can be explored in really interesting ways if different character dynamics/genres are added into the mix. (this is why my terrible nerdy ass wants to gm a campaign based on the plot of lost with my players taking control of the character of their choice lol). like, wrecked tbs was great but it’s literally just Lost Comedy Au. so i think this particular story would also take a lot from wrecked tbs in terms of vibe, but anywho.
so, obvi this is a modern all human au as well, bc fantasy bullshit is hard to work into this whole thing.
uh, so. our CHARACTERS are on a PLANE, as you would expect. they don’t know each other, obvi, but their backgrounds INTERSECT because strangely enough, that’s a theme in both of these shows. to quote one great woman, myself, “there is absolutely no difference between lost (2004-10) and the adventure zone (2014-),” (bee “yahooanswer” lastnameredacted; april 12, 2017).
the plane CRASHES onto THE ISLAND. its pilot, a rather short and business-like fellow named DAVENPORT, survives, though the trauma causes him to have some issues with SPEECH. also on the plane are famous author LUCRETIA, disgraced celebrity chef TAAKO, and rockstar scales fangbattle’s sister, the notorious criminal (and adorable lesbian) CAREY. there are other folks too–wannabe artsy hipster carpenter but current security guard MAGNUS, disgraced priest turned doctor MERLE, useless lesbian grad student KILLIAN, child genius ANGUS, starving artist JOHAN, chill dude engineer AVI. There’s also a guy who claims 2 be a salesman and his name is garfield and i’m very scared of him. actually wait. he’s ethan. he’s ethan holy shit.
and that’s just a few from front of the plane– the tail splits off, but a few survive– bartender REN, alcohol salesperson NOELLE, as well as pro wrestler JESS, and ROSWELL blart, mall cop.
BUT WAIT! there are MORE PEOPLE ON THIS ISLAND? including a man trapped in a hatch with whom lucretia has a rough history…. and, as much as i hate to sink to this level, and as much as it wounds my pride to say this,
barry bluejeans is the desmond figure of this au. and lup is penny. i am not sure of b/l in this au. i think lup is more concerened with finding her brother than her maybe ex.
there’s also a group of OTHERS, of course,. In this, we have our boss-rush characters, june, the lich twins, as well as not one but two defectors–kravitz and julia. fuck yeah she’s alive in this.
and like, science team is the millers and the tree lesbians obvi. sloane is the pilot, maureen and lucas are both taking up dan and miles’ roles together, and hurley is their guard.
i’ll probably explore the concept of people being Special in this if i write it (i won’t) a lot more than lost canon did so as to address magic. i also want to go further into the Island Of Psuedo-Gods thing, like, making istus AND raven AND pan AND the hunger (smokey) influencing shit.
