A game that was lost to time... is reborn.
It's LOST SKIES!!! The spiritual successor to an old physics-based MMO that was lost before its time. Now I get to revisit the universe in a smaller scale co-op survival game.
I'm home...
🟣 LIVE NOW!!!
In the final battle against the crystallized Overlord, the ninja sacrifice their elemental powers and achieve dragon form to defeat him.
In this world, they don’t turn back into humans.
Lost Skies sees Lloyd in the aftermath, struggling to come to terms with a world flipped on its head. Are his brothers truly gone? Will he truly never see them again?
To find out, read Lost Skies when it comes out on the 16th with the other telephone fics! To find more fic previews for the event, check out the #previews tag on this blog.

Now reaching the skies of PlayStation and Xbox!
Lost Skies is a game.
Um. This deer-creature... just ran itself off the edge of the island and straight into the void. What? I mean, i get it. It was one of two living creatures on the whole island (I did not kill anything), and that had to have been very lonely, but was it really that bad?
Playing a new game. It's been fun, but I just did something I have regrets about- and not because I did something I shouldn't have done, but because I'm an idiot. It's because I forgot a fucking light source, so went through what I'm tentatively calling a dungeon in the dark. Like, I could barely see what was in-front of me and I had my monitors contrast and brightness up to max.
Up on this mountain, there's a small puzzle you need to solve to unlock an opening (I think that's what happened) to fall into a darkened cave-like place with walls you can't grapple onto.
I didn't think much of it and hopped on down.
It was dark.
Darker than the above image (which is the exit off the the left of my reticle but right of the pillar, which i found nearly 30 minutes later). I couldn't escape because the entrance up at the top was too high to grapple onto, so I was stuck and I didn't want to respawn because I had an inventory full of much-needed items and upgrades that wouldn't fit into my belt. Not much left to do except bravely forge onward- and holy hell, did I almost die anyways because there were fucking auto turrets that hit me numerous times on the slide downwards.
And I was the dumb-ass who decided to remove the flares from my inventory when I unlocked the Hip Lamp for crafting, forgetting that I still need to find electric filament or whatever its called to craft it.
So, yeah. I went through one of these without any light source. -10 / 10, do not recommend. Carry a light source with you, regardless of what you think you'll be doing on any of the islands.
