The hazy shape of a boy and a girl, the rays give way stabbing holes of heat in my eyes,
‘Why don’t you butt out! Disappear and never come back!’ brushing off the hand that helped me. ‘I won’t leave you!’ you were firmly yelling grabbing at the hand that I held b a c k.
‘You’re annoying!’ Moving away to walk ahead and never looking back as I leave you-
was it the real you that I knew?”
As a part of her return to Johto, Lyra had made it a point to seek out every gym leader she could in hopes of showing them how much she’d grown in the time gone- not that she really changed much, not really. But with the new found confidence Morty had given her during her stay in Ecruteak, she felt liek she could conquer any feat once more.
Her next stop would be Blackthorn, having already visited with Pryce in Mahogany Town. And as she came down from the skies on her dear hedgie, she couldn’t help but smile in fondness at the memory tht hit her. Wide eyed- ready to face the infamous dragon clan to get her eighth and final badge.
Not many people lived in Blackthorn- and not many people could. I was a rough land sprouted inbetween two mountains, Mt. Silver overlooking and casting a shadow upon the very valley it sat. Which of course was no issue, it just meant that people would recgonize her easier- and they did.
A teenage boy roughly around her age paused form his duties taking care of a dratini, looking over in her general direction. His hair was a brownish red, and so wavy it seemed to poof. He looked pretty slim, and his eyes were a milky brown. Lyra remembered him from her first visit, the little boy who was blinded from an accident and was related to Clair, either a fourth or fifth cousin- it wa hard to remember.
“...I knew you would be coming back.” the boy smiled, and stood up “I could hear it in the wind, and I could feel it in the ground. Should I go get Clair for you?” “Oh, please don’t trouble yourself- shoki was it? I’ll be fine!” Lyra tried to assure him, but he began to walk off anyhow, dratini sort of guiding him by.
“Ah-...oh dear.” With nothing else to do,she stood there lamely looking around and waiting for him to return- with what she guessed would be Clair in tow. At least, that was until she spotted a familar glimpse of red hair, and a very familiar black outfit.
“Oh-” was all she managed to say before she took off running after the person, catching up and grabbing his hand, before she could stop herself. “S-silver? Silver is that you?”
