Mykonos!
Highlights:
- Accommodation cancelled about an hour before arrival due to electrical issues. We booked a place last minute, which turned out to be at what felt like the top of a mountain. Walking up and down every day sure kept up our cardio!
- Jet skiing at Platis Gialos
- “Skandinavian Bar” in Mykonos Town - you could dance on the bar and on platforms
- Club at Paradise Beach - the venue was unbelievable, however, the crowd were LITERALLY 12 years old. When we got sick of babysitting, we went back to Skandinavian Bar
- Super Paradise Beach - the beach turns into a club in the afternoon. The water was crystal clear. While we were there, we had a creepy guy ask to buy us a drink. We refused. About an hour later, the bar tender tricked us by taking us to “her friend” for a drink. Turns out it was the guy. We then spend the next few hours trying to avoid this creep, by literally jumping from couch to couch. The security guards were very protective of us. We saved two young French girls who had just arrived to Mykonos, had nowhere to stay and were going to “sleep on the guys couch”. They stayed on our floor that night.
- Seeing Ed Westwick on the way to the bathroom
- Getting lost in the beauty of Mykonos and the streets. They don’t have street names in order to trick the pirates.
