This session was so magical. ➡️➡️➡️➡️➡️ SWIPE FOR BEFORE AND AFTER! 2 years ago, I shot a wedding at Lands End and glanced over and saw these rock formations from above. Oh how I wanted to go over there with my couple. Last year, a couple of mine wanted to do an engagement session here but ended up picking a location more meaningful to them near the city. This year - this lovely bride who inquired with me just happens to be a photographer herself and while dreaming up her engagement session - she said she just wanted to go somewhere beautiful so I asked her if we can do it at the Sutro Baths because everyone in the SF area has had at least one session here and she agreed wholeheartedly to trust my vision. There were so many people there that it was impossible to capture this photo of just the two because everyone wanted to enjoy the scenery too! I had to reimagine how I was going to create all my images here but so worth it! You will only get what you want if you ask the stars for it! Deth and I took a walk down memory lane last night... it happens every now and then when even the stars have gone to sleep that we find ourselves still talking like we did in the first days when there was not enough time and every waking moment was either spent together or wishing that we could be in the other’s presence. There’s something special about this feeling and I love going through the emotions of falling in love. I live more moments like this. It’s the end of the night, you know that all your hard work and planning of 6 months to a year (or even more) has all lead up to this magical day and even though there were some minor hiccups during the day, you are now married and in the arms of the person you know you are going to spend the rest of your life together with. It doesn’t matter what happens next, in this moment - your favorite song is playing in the background, all your friends are cheering you on and celebrating your love with you, but all you can feel are your lovers arms supporting you as you lean against each other intoxicated by the many toasts and shots you shouldn’t have taken! BUT it doesn’t matter, you know that if you fall, there are so many people ready and willing to catch you as you fall. Lost in the moment, caught up singing along to with your own lyrics, starring deeply into the eyes of your lover, and knowing in that moment, this was how it was exactly how it was suppose to happen.
