This is totally random but I got so excited to see you're doing museums studies. I'm planning on doing one and hopefully get a cool job at a museum. I just find it cool/exciting to see other people interested in the same area xx
That’s so great! Are you in college? What are your interests/focus? What kind of museums do you prefer? It’s honestly SUCH a fun field (mostly sort of. it gets frustrating sometimes. especially the job hunting) But if you ever want to talk about museums I am always open to it. I can geek out about it for DAYS.
Fun story: 4 of my friends and I went on a trip to a museum about a half hour away on our day off, IMMEDIATELY made plans for a second trip as soon as we got there because we knew we wouldn’t be able to get to see everything, took a two hour tour, and then spent our entire lunchtime debating about the ethics of some of the collections the museum had and the paperwork that must have gone into it. It was the most museum studies thing I’ve ever seen museum studies students do.
