Lost Light RPG forum accepting applications!

We are a canon-divergent RPG forum, split from the comic storyline prior to DoTL. The forum allows players the opportunity to explore characters, storylines, and relationships the comics may not. We’ve been up and running for one year now, with several of our original cast still going strong, and we are always open to new members and new characters. We’re seeking role-players of all experience levels and both canon characters and original characters are welcome!

Happy 1 Year SFP

I started SFP one year ago and I’m constantly amazed at how much we’ve done. We’ve got some great storylines under our belts, some incredible OCs have gotten the chance to shine through our forums, and we’ve made some great friends through this RPG. We’ve had so many great plots together, be they the gentle building of relationships of all kinds or the intense SG event last Halloween. There have been times where we’ve lost players due to circumstances out of their control, but there’s always a place for old friends.

And, of course, there is always room for new friends. 

I’m really glad that I started this forum. You guys have been amazing and I love seeing everyone getting the chance to explore characters, stories, and friendships though SFP. Members, both old and new, whether they’re still a part of the forum or have had to leave, have made me so proud and I’m glad that you became a part of the group. 

I have enjoyed having SFP as part of my fandom experience and I hope that you all have as well. One year is incredible. I hope the SFP experience continues to be as great.

SFP is back!

the guys at zetaboards have been working diligently to get our server and the others hit by the outage back up and that work’s finally paid off. we are back online!

Forum down

I’ve looked into the problem with the forum today and it looks like it is a problem with the host server. Checking in at the zetaboards support forum, it looks like our server (s15) is one of four affected by an outage. They are working to restore access as soon as possible! I’ll update both here and on twitter when the problem is resolved!

Special Event - The Second Enigma

We picked up on a distress call from deep in this quadrant, but we haven't been able to find the source. There are several faint signals all over and we've managed to trace some of them. The weird thing is, whenever we follow any of them, there's nothing. No stations, no ships, not even some poor mech caught in alt mode. It's like we're chasing ghosts. This seems familiar.

We're revisiting the Enigma for this Special Event! Much like last time, this is a chance to work in characters whose circumstances in canon don't allow for them to be on the Lost Light otherwise - be it that they have died or were never actually on the Lost Light in the canon universe, but joined in a parallel universe. This is also a good chance for characters from other continuities besides IDW Generation 1 to join the crew. 

This event will be open until October 10 for plenty of time for threads, introductions, and any new people to settle into the forum. Characters brought in by the Enigma will be introduced in the forum entitled "The Second Enigma" and, once their introductions are done, they'll be integrated in the main RP forum as regular crew. The event forum will be set to Read-Only after the last day.
