“After meeting you, after knowing the truth, I think I know what Uncle Owen was so afraid of for all these years.” To an extent, he was sure that it was Anakin Skywalker’s turn to the dark side that Uncle Owen had feared for Luke-- but it was more than that; it was something even more innate, something that he and his father both shared (not necessarily something that he shared with Vader).
A sense of adventure-- the inability to find peace in living the quite farm life.
“I am a Jedi, like my father before me.” Not a farmer, consigned to anonymity but something more-- like he’d always wanted to be.
