Well, at least there hadn’t been a mission assigned yet, which meant there was precious breathing room to enjoy before things started going down again. They were still in space, and the order had come in not long ago, to merge with Ahsoka Tano’s battle group. A smaller one, which suited Ferus nicely - his own team had been on a scouting mission and so they weren’t more than a few dozen men all told right then.
They were all tired and thankful to get some rest, but as the commanding officer of the platoon, Ferus felt it pertinent to go introduce himself and get briefed on the situation, if the Commander had different intel than what he’d been given from the coordination people.
“Commander Tano? Lieutenant Ferus Olin.”
