any of my sawyer-y losties recall episodes where sawyer cries, gets slapped, humiliated, stuff like that, especially in romantic contexts? (not crying about juliet’s death, not the mood i’m going for lol) i have an idea for a gif set using sabrina carpenter’s “goodbye”

specifically this line makes me think of flash sawyer and charlotte, but i think it’s more fun if i include other people frustrated with him 🤣 i say people bc obviously all his canon romance is with women but i’m sure there’s some shit with jack or miles or michael or whoever that could qualify lmao

i know this article will probably be helpful but it doesn’t have episode title references 😭 fuck maybe my next project should be looking into lostpedia… who’s updating it, if anyone, etc. there’s so many things from other wikis like star trek’s memory alpha that i think would be cool on lostpedia and so many broken links. it feels like my goal in life should be ensuring the currency of lostpedia in 2026 but what a fucking project, it’s kind of a shit show 😢

so like, I was looking at Lostpedia again and according to it:

Alex Rousseau is born in 1988.

The Purge of the DHARMA initiative occurred in 1992.

there is a four year gap in which both groups (or at least, the remnants of DHARMA (because Incident) and the ever growing Hostiles/Others) exist on the island together in some kind of (emotional?) state whereby they might have still been at war with each other, but there was a little baby girl Ben was probably struggling to raise because he doesn’t know what the fuck to do, but he knows he’s going to try to be better than his own father. And Danielle is running around living her sad solitary jungle life.

I don’t quite know what to do with this information.

so, I got really into map making again (I hand draw maps sometimes. If you wanna see them, let me know.) and for funsies I wanted to see what maps people made of the island from the Lost tv show. These three are my favorite. of course, all of them have the same or at least a similar shape to the irl island of O’ahu (part of Hawai’i) since the show was filmed there.

Currently, I am rewatching Lost and I can’t stop!!!! I was there from the beginning to the end and this is my first time watching it fully through. I was always so fascinated with the backstory and some of the religious, science, and art inspiration that was infused in the show. Yes, towards the end it had some major flaws in writing but overall Lost provided some amazing television and beautiful ensemble acting.

I totally am seeking inspiration through some of the well thought out shots.
