Friday Update!

Thing I made this week for SimpleCG’s February Challenge. Had to make some furniture, and I based mine off of a kitchen umm corner seat thing from somewhere I used to go as a kid.

Won’t say how often I’ll be posting, but hopefully sooner than later I’ll get back on to posting stuff besides Goblin Week, Month of Mecha and holidays.

What does the metis in your bio mean? Is it about the greek goddess?

I actually didn't know there was a greek goddess called Metis until I looked it up just now lol but that's super cool!

Anyway,

I am Métis. This means that I have both Indigenous and European ancestry (French and Cree in my case), as well as possessing a Métis citizenship card. There are communities in both the U.S. as well as in Canada but it appears that the former doesn't really have as much of a distinct Métis community which might explain why you haven't heard of us before. I added my ethnicity in my bio as a clarifier of sorts for when I reblog more political posts so as to add a bit of context as to where I'm coming from regarding certain issues.
