Lottie & Tiana || I’ve been missing you, sugah.
New Orleans such a wonderful place. This is no place like New Orleans, really! All people here, no matter rich or poor, healthy or sick, old or young they all have dreams. And they don’t afraid to share their dreams with their relatives and friends. This place is alive! Jazz is the soul of New Orleans and people are it’s blood. They always in a hurry doing their best to make their dreams do come true.
Tiana was no exception. She was working hard to make her and her father’s dream come true. She had two jobs, mother she needed to help and some friends. Well “friends” is too loud word. Actually she had the only friend Charlotte. Others thought Tiana was crazy and never believed she would reach her aim, but Lottie did.
Their friendship was very strong from childhood. Lottie always wanted to become a princess and Tiana dreamed about her restaurant. But recently one thing has changed. Charlotte fell in love with good fellow Edward and was pretty happy. And Tiana liked him. He was very tender with Lottie and she knew he would never hurt her. That made Tiana confident her best friend was happy.
But there was one minus. They used to see each other very seldom and now they didn’t meet at all. Sometimes Tiana missed her favorite alive doll. To tell you the truth she really thought that Charlotte could become great actress such as Marilyn Monroe. She even looked like Marilyn, but more beautiful, surely.
It was a simple day. Tiana was working hard, the second day in a row. She still looked very friendly and wasn’t irritable. She knew what would Lottie said if she only saw her now. Something like “Oh, Tia! You look awful ” and these words always made Tiana smile. She liked to know that someone cared about her as much as she cared about that person.
Duke was angry (as he usually does) and argued with Tiana because of the foodstuffs. She refused to cook out of bad ingredients carrying about people’s health. Duke cared about his money. Tiana returned to her work and began to please customers. Why should she be angry with these people? They just came here to have a rest and lunch.
Tiana looked at the door with a hope that the bell would rang and Lottie would appear.
