Broken record! Daniel, I dont know if this sounds mean but has y/n every betrayed you in a way or lied to you? All she does is be a great friend for so long, always being there for you and you can so easily throw her away? Was she ever suspicious to you to the point that you think she has ulterior motives to help you instead of it being because she cares for you so much? Seriously, some people can just be blinded because of "love" (im sorry, it really sounds mean but its true ish)

daniel, overwhelmed and gulping as he’s being called out: um… well…. y/n never did anything to betray me… actually, they’ve done a lot for me… look, i know what i did was stupid. i just really liked that girl and i thought y/n would be happy for me, but they weren’t. you know, for once, i felt like they weren’t on my side. i know it sounds stupid and selfish, but for me, it… was weird. i thought we couldn’t be friends anymore when they started yelling at me to not call them again. i was too afraid to call anyway. there were actually a lot of stupid times where i just walk by their house. you know, hoping they just walk out or just happened to be walking home around the same time so we were kind of forced to talk. i just had bad timing. i know i ruined our friendship, but honestly, i’m happy i got drunk and called them that night. we’re okay now and i’m not throwing them away from my life again. ever. they’re way more important.
