I had the best week! I visited Victor Chelsea and Lylah in Indianapolis, Chelsea made some killer Chinese food! And Lylah is basically starting to like me.
Amy slept over and I braided her hair. I introduced everyone mentioned above to Blogilates and took Amy to the beach where she caught some water Pokémon.
I took Zach and Zoe to the Museum of Science and Industry and to the Children’s Museum. We started today with a water balloon fight! It’s Zach’s Birthday today! I remember when he was only a few days old and here he is problem solving how to build a sky scraper he named “The anti-trump tower.”
I took lakeshore drive home and made a pit stop at the beach where I spent time by myself swimming and reading.
Edit: To amplify the day I saw Ghost Busters with Ralph! And it was so sick! Please more movies with casts full of women! And more Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon, they made the damn thing!
I am so happy I am a teacher and I get to have a summer break to enjoy these things. The school year can be long and draining but summer is the perfect medicine.
