Louis’ BBCR1 interview.
On first listen, I notice the adjectives that Louis uses to be revealing. Louis is very pointed with his words, with both their denotation and connotation. For example, he describes going back to TXF as “crazy” and “a rollercoaster of emotions.” These are not exactly glowing descriptions. In contrast, he describes the One Direction songs as “positive.”
This interview was to promote TXF. BBCR1 did introduce with Back to You, and Louis is getting exposure to the British audience. He comes across as genuine, kind, and humorous— very relatable. They joke about Simon’s shoes and getting Simon into a track suit and a Burberry cap. Louis speaks with sympathy about the contestants.
As for mentioning his girlfriend, that’s nothing new and nothing to be angry about. It’s not on his team. He didn’t say “Eleanor my girlfriend whom I love.” “Girlfriend” could mean Harry, for all we care; there’s precedent for this. He said “ours” and it’s out there, and can’t be retracted lol.
BBCR1 also gave him a segment to promote the show via the “Pass the Pasty” story. Again, he’s quick-witted, kind, funny. He has a down-to-earth, Everyman quality that should be broadly appealing to a wide demographic range.
All in all, Louis has been so mature, kind, and lovely, appearing much more relaxed and content in his appearances compared to 2017. He looks good and I’m happy.
so, louis, you're telling me that the majority of the songs on the possible 18 track album are slow sappy heartfelt songs because you like to "put a couple more bangers on" before the album is released. ok. i'm liking the sound of this
I think all the radio stations, hosts, songwriters, producers, label heads and all other industry people Louis over the time pissed off collectively rejoiced when they heard he is going solo. Imagine how much these people had to put up with just cause he is 1/5 of a boyband and that they had no choice but to put up with him for the sake of the other members. But as a solo artist it is only him and now he is paying the price and reaping the fruits of his bitchy behaviour years ago. These people must feel so thrilled to say NO to everything that has the name Louis Tomlinson attached to it now.
Oh, absolutely. Did Louis really think there would be no repercussions for vandalizing and stealing from studios and attacking radio hosts on air?
