Sick day- Aasim
“How’s he doing?” Clementine asked as she approached Louis once he came walking out of Aasim’s dorm. “Ruby’s still checking up on him. Says he still has a fever but I managed to get him to drink a little bit of water and Mitch got him a hot water bottle. Despite his fever he’s shivering like crazy.” Louis explained to her as he crossed his arms over his chest. Clem let out a sigh of her own and leaned against the nearby wall. “I told him not to go hunting out in that blizzard and he did it anyways. Why does he never listen?” She muttered quietly with a worried frown, but apparently not quite enough for Louis not to hear
“You know Aasim. He’s got a heart of gold and is also a stubborn as hell. He wasn’t gonna let anyone go hungry this winter and even if you went out after him, he wasn’t gonna come back until he brought back enough food for everyone.” Louis told her as he looked over at her, causing her to look back up at him. “I know. I guess that’s why we love him don’t we?” She mused with a small smile on her lips to which Louis smiled back. “That we do.” He hummed softly before looking over when Ruby came walking out
“His fever is still high but it should hopefully break soon. Just keep getting fluids into him and keep him warm. And also try to get him to eat. That poor boy is as pale as a ghost. He needs to eat.” Ruby explained as she looked over at the two of them. “Well that’s why I brought this.” Clementine told her as she held up a bowl of still warm deer stew. “Omar had made it not too long ago and gave me this bowl to bring to Aasim.” She explained to her. “That will do it. A bowl of hot stew will do wonders for Aasim.” Ruby told her with a smile before looking over at Louis. “Think you can give me a hand down in the nurse’s office for a bit Lou?” She asked as she looked over at him. “Sure thing Ruby, see you later Clem.” Louis called before walking down the hall with Ruby
Once she was alone, Clementine walked into Aasim’s dorm room with the bowl of stew. Sure enough when she got inside, she saw Aasim curled up in bed, his arms wrapped tightly around the hot water bottle he had. And even though he had at least five heavy blankets on him, Clementine could still see him shivering underneath them. Frowning sympathetically, she made her way over to Aasim’s bed and sat down in a chair that was pulled away from his desk and placed in front of his bed
“Hey there kit. I brought you some stew, made fresh from Omar’s pot.” She told him with a small smile as she reached over and rested her hand over Aasim’s on the bed, biting back a frown when she felt how warm his skin was. “Th-Thank you C-Clem.” Aasim said through chattering teeth and tried to sit up but Clementine stopped him. “Hey, you don’t need to sit up. You need your rest. Here, I’ll just feed it to you so you can keep your strength.” She offered to him and he nodded, laying back down in bed
Picking up the spoon from the bowl, Clementine scooped up a good portion of the stew before holding it out to Aasim for him to take. Leaning in, he ate the stew before settling back down. The feeling of the fresh warm stew in his stomach warmed his freezing body and he could already start feeling better. They both kept this up until eventually Aasim finished the bowl of stew and Clem placed the bowl on the nearby dresser. “Alrighty, scoot over. Time for get better cuddles.” She then said as she stood up from the chair
“W-What? No, I don’t want you getting sick.” Aasim protested weakly. “Nope, no arguments, you’re getting cuddles. You’re the one who went hunting out in a blizzard, now you get punished with cuddles.” Clem told him before climbing into bed with him and crawling under all the blankets. Once she was laying down next to him, she wrapped her arms around him and pulled him close, having him rest his head on her chest. “Now get some rest. You got a fever to break and I’m gonna be here for you.” She hummed before pressing a kiss to his forehead. Aasim found himself smiling tiredly. Even though he didn’t want Clementine to get sick, he was glad that she was there anyways. Snuggling close, he let his heavy eyelids close and finally drift off to sleep
So I have a hc that Aasim is allergic to Cashews, can I request some Lousim with Louis helping Aasim when He has a reaction to cashews?

Would you look at me? It’s only been three days since my last update and here I am with another! This one was cute to write, as it’s got some Lousim fluff along with Louis and Clem being besties. @stop-breaking-my-heart-telltale‘s challenge is really making me pump out some fluff, not that I’m complaining.
Summary:
Three weeks after they attacked the boat, Louis and Aasim go on a walk with the hopes of catching a sunrise.
Enjoy!

Day Four: Gift
(Lousim/Mitsim)
Louis quickly scanned his surroundings. The abandoned, derelict shopping centre was quiet, despite the occasional screech from the old swinging signs. Most of the store windows were shattered, the glass covering the floor in a heap, wild flowers had managed to tangle their way around the building, tightly holding onto it in a cocooning hug.
Pulling his backpack tighter, Louis stepped into a store through the broken window, cursing quietly when the broken glass crunched beneath his booted foot. Louis inhaled as he stepped further into the store, the low groaning from a walker was heard, however, with a turn of the head, Louis was filled with relief. A walker was restricted, handcuffed to a metal rusting pipe, it’s bottom limbs cut away, a pool of blood and guts around it.
“You smell like shit,” Louis groaned, holding his nose briefly as he glared at the walker, “You know that? Absolute shit.” The walker groaned in response, “Glad we are on the same page you shit eater.” Louis grumbled as he began to walk around the store.
His hand was resting on his knife which was tucked away in a knife cover hanging from a belt buckle, the taped hand rough in his dry hands, although he couldn’t complain, the knife was handy, that’s all it needed to be, it didn’t need to be fancy, just plain Jane.
Louis slowly walked around the store, the shelves were ransacked, broken in half and full of dust. He wasn’t going to find an anniversary gift here anytime soon but he wasn’t going to lose hope. He wasn’t a pessimist, he was an optimist. Louis crouched down, slipping his hand underneath the small gap of the shelves, cringing when he felt the thick layer of dust rub against his equally dirty hand. Nothing but dead bugs, dust and rubble.
Sighing, Louis stood back up, wiping his hands down on his faded jeans. With another quick glance, he noticed - out of his perpetual vision - a door left open a jar behind the dismembered walker. Therefore, with a grin he walked for it.
“Excuse me,” Louis whispered as he stood by the walker. The walker liked the close proximity and grabbed a hold of Louis’ leg which caused him to shake, “No dude, you don’t want to eat me. I’ll taste like you… absolute shit. Honour that you want to eat me though.”
Louis slowly pushed open the door, a smile on his lips once he realised, this place hasn’t been looted. He wandered into the room, looking at the stacked toys and supplies. With a curious hum, he pressed his finger to his chin. Were people storing supplies here? Was he in a trap?
Shaking the thought from his head, he walked further into the room, a box tucked away in the corner catching his brown mesmerising eyes. Stepping slowly over, he looked down to the old donation box, a thick layer of dust lay atop most items in the cardboard. The cardboard box had taken some damage within the years of the apocalypse. The corners of the box were hollowed out, small holes now residing in the said corners due to water exposure.
Louis sighed as he lowered his weapon as he knelt back on the floor. He began to remove the toys, placing them down on the floor in defeat, none of them were good enough for him. Although he didn’t give up, he kept digging through the box, until he came to the final two items.
Picking them both up slowly, he looked at the smaller box before opening it up, the smaller item slipped onto his hands, his fingers holding it gently as he shook it, the makeshift snow particles falling in the stale water. A snow globe. It was fun, but it wasn’t a good enough present for an anniversary.
Louis grabbed the last item, a small black velvet box. An unusual item to be in a donation box - especially if it’s what he thought. Shaking, he opened it up. An intact green fluorite necklace in the shape of a crystal hanging from a rose golden chain, 18” - usually called a princess length chain.
“Perfect.” Louis grinned as he snapped the box shut again, shoving it into the inside pocket of his trenchcoat, it would’ve gone into his backpack, but he didn’t like resources being in there especially when a walker could grab him by it. Louis patted the necklace box as he stood up, his body stiffening at the sound of multiple undead moans.
“Shit…” Louis whispered to himself through gritted teeth, snatching his knife from the cover holding it tightly as he walked out of the door slowly, alert ready for any danger to come his way. He slyly shut the door, the sound of the mechanism clinking together made his scowl. A walker could’ve heard that, he shouldn’t have been so stupid.
Walking around the corner, Louis slipped out of the way he came, he began heading down to where Clementine was looting. His shoulder barged at the door, shoving the rotting wood open.
“Jesus Louis!” Clementine snapped as she had her hand clenched over her heart, “If I was more aware, I would’ve shot you several times! Don’t do that!”
Louis arched a brow, “Really?”
“Really.” Clementine glared as she stood up, patting down her multiple pockets before shoving her hand into her pocket and pulling out an object. “Here.”
“What’s that?” Louis asked, taking a hold of the object before gasping quietly, “I… would this fit him?”
Clementine nodded, holding up a piece of cotton, “I told him I could knit so I wanted the size of his fingers and tada, engagement ring.”
Louis bit his lip, “I… were not at that stage in our relationship.”
Clementine walked up to Louis, gently punching his shoulder, “In a world like this, you can’t be fussy. If you love him, propose. You don’t know how long you have left together.”
