I'm curious. Who is your favorite card artist for the tcg?

Oh, that's sooo difficult to decide! There's so many I love! I wanna do some short deep dives into the individual styles and strengths of the most common artists, but things keep getting pushed back because real life has been busy.

Two I'm expecially impressed by are sasasi and Nakano Haito, because of the range they have.

Both of them have also designed some Digimon themselves, and they often get picked to do special art rares or promotional material.

Nakano Haito has also done illustrations for Hyper Colosseum and Battle Spirits cards, and Digimon they designed include GraceNovamon, Cendrillmon, many X Antibody Digimon, and more.

sasasi has been doing illustrations for cards in Battle Spirits as well, and has designed some of the new Shambala Digimon, such as Kakamon and Amaterasumon among others.

But I guess if I have to pick one favorite, I guess it's only fair to say Kazumasa Yasukuni, as he is the only artist I am collecting all cards of in a designated binder.

He's been illustrating cards in Battle Spirit as well, and has been a steady part of the current card game since the Beginning.

It's really cool seeing how he found his style and got more comfortable using wild colors! With his massive improvement, he's been picked to illustrate many Regional Tournament prize and participation cards. To me, these vibrant and dynamic cards are just among the most fun to look at.

I love following this blog, the cards that show up on my dashboard always spark new deck ideas that I never would have considered without seeing your card edits! Thank you :)

That makes me so happy! I believe we have well over 200 decks by now! There's so many ways to play this game and I greatly respect how creative people get with their decks!

Hey! I got into the Digimon TCG at the end of 2024/beginning of 2025 and only recently found your blog.

As of now, I'd say I'm more of a collector than a real player lol (trying to get familiar with my Parallel World Tactician starter deck; other than that, I collect and organize the cards I own in a binder according to thematic segments I come up with). The game is super fun, but I'm just so in love with the cards themselves I'm happy enough just staring at the art. Still, I'm excited to have found an active community of players here, since I've got only one person IRL to play with and she's too busy right now being in love with the One Piece TCG, bless her. I don't know the situation abroad, but it's not a very famous TCG in Brazil.

The main point of this message, though, is that I NEED to point out how fantastic is your blog, specially in terms of organization and presentation!! You clearly put a lot of work into making, labeling and explaining your content, it's so satisfying. (You even color the Digimon names in the text to match the card's!!!) Like. I look at your blog and I go, "Oh, this must feel so fufilling."

I know this might be an odd compliment to read lol butas someone who's also very detail-oriented when it comes to my passions, I think this should be celebrated.

This message has brought me so much joy! Like, "This person gets it!" It means so much to me, seeing people recognize the amount of effort I put into these things~ Color coding and organinzing are weirdly satisfying to me, and I try best to make it easy for people to explore my blog and discover Cards and Digimon, after all that's one of the reasons I'm doing this for!!

Whenever I feel like I've been getting a couple new followers I try to point out my blog guide, and I'm always so scared of "spamming" people's dashboards if I reblog old posts myself. But dangit I try to get over those feelings, cause I just want people to see more Digimon stuff!!

This is one of the reasons I started this blog. Back then I never saw anyone talk about the card game on tumblr, and I felt like it was such a shame, since the card game feels like such a love letter to the franchise.

Doing the edits keeps getting more and more time consuming, but I wanna keep sharing these with you all!
