after months of trying to get a fashion internship, he finally seemed to nag one. there was a catch though; it was in la, california. his parents weren’t so happy about him moving so far away but he promised it’d only be for the summer and that he’d be right back in august.
the good thing about it was that he remembered joshua saying he was from there ( although what were the odds when LA was so big? ) and he hoped to surprise the other. so, once he arrived there, he was going to bring him flowers. he wasn’t sure where joshua had lived but he was sure he could get joshua to meet him somewhere unknowingly to his knowledge of keyun’s arrival.
but first things first! flowers. he noticed a flower shop nearby and had strolled right in. this was hours after he had arrived. surprisingly, the internship had provided a place of living for him ( a small, sort of compact apartment ) but a place, nevertheless. he still hadn’t fully unpacked but he was excited to check out the area of LA and hope to run into celebrities while here too.
anyway, entering the flower shop, the snapback-wearing brunette heard a greeting from the owner but hadn’t fully gotten glimpse at them as he headed right over to the pink flowers. peonies, he thinks they were called. they all looked so pretty, he was getting so lost in awe as he stared at them that he hadn’t heard the owner come near him. “ah, excuse me, sir but can you tell me if these flowers have any specific meaning? or at least, is there any kind of flower that you can give to someone you like?” he held up one of the bouquets and when he finally glanced at the owner, the color in his face had completely drained. JOSHUA! out of all flower shops he could go into, he ran into joshua. he was going to die. he covered his face with the bouquet but it was probably too late. joshua probably saw that it was him. “j-joshua! you’re not suppose to-- -what’re you doing here!?”
