It usually depends on the people themselves, but other build ups can be between personal aspects. Depending on the person’s aspects (in their natal, like if they have Venus-square-Mars and are attracted to a certain type of person who reflects that) -- sometimes even a loose orb can feel like something ‘fell right into place’ for them too 💕
I guess it has to do with a specific type, or desire for something. I usually check for Mercury, Lilith, Vertex, NN-SN, Moon-Sun between them. Mid-points between two people can also be checked, sometimes the desire stems from those between people (who has intense connections).
Personal placements, like say a Sag Venus with a heavy Capricorn in them, can find ‘sudden’ inhibition with another person as well (*in this case it’s a release, or a desire to get close to.)
So it depends on the person, I feel like with ‘love at first sight’ there’s a couple of different ways to get there. ASC is usually the one people point to, but there are other aspects/placements that could indicate different shade/ranges of love for those people too (like whether you desire them, whether you feel strongly emotionally connected to them, whether you feel fascinated by them. Love at first sight can be in different ranges/shades from each other).
