God like Days Of Future Past is just such a good x-men film. Great acting. Solid cast. Wolverine is in it but just a plot point and all the other characters have development and arcs instead of him. I like how it just embraces comic book time and retcons and just decides that the last stand didn’t happen anymore! Magneto is still hot in it. I really like Mystique in this movie (I do prefer her as more of anti-hero at most than in the sequels to this film where she is a full hero) and I like that the big emotional climax is about not shooting someone. It really nails the balance between spectacle and more contemplative character drama and the allegorical rights movement. I love the two casts (rogue cut forever!). I wish all of the films were like this.
