By the immensity of time. And the vastness of space. How lucky am I to share this epoch with you. How grateful I am for this universe, fourteen billion years strong! It has birthed stars upon stars, and countless worlds for me. How fortunate am I to reside upon a vibrant green and blue dot that is four billion years old. Thriving and blossoming. The gods created the sun in our glory. As we converse in red and gold. Each sun ray bathes us with life. I wonder if you see this, when you look up in the night sky, when you see the dying light of an ancient star. I know what I see, when I look into your eyes.

Dear Anonymous person

While I appreciate any form or show of love, no matter how extravagant, ethnic or plain out weird it is, I'm afraid I have to draw a line at self-mutilation.

Unless you lost your left leg, soul and most body parts before meeting me and have been keeping them in storage for a situation such as this, which is just plain weird.
