Why is there so much hate in the Doctor Who fandom? I mean, there's a lot to it and a lot that you're expected to like, but there's no reason to hate any of it.

Currently there's a lot of hate going around for the Thirteenth Doctor and, while I see many reasons why people might not like her, but I don't see any reason to hate her.

I know there are people who hate Rose or Martha or River or Clara, and I'm sure each Doctor had their fair share of people who hate them.

It seems like every time there's a change, even a small one, everyone freaks out and half the fandom starts complaining about the change and hating it, even though they haven't given it much of a chance. It just doesn't make sense. Doctor Who is a show about change and has always been.

I don't like all of the characters or stories in Doctor Who, but I see no reason to hate any of them. They all have their good aspects and I see no reason to spend my time hating what I don't like and I see even less of a reason to bash it online.

I may not like some of the characters or pairings, but I don't see a reason to hate on them. I know other people do like those characters or pairings. It's just a matter of opinion.

"Tony…" Steve's mouth opens and closes a couple of times, shock keeping any words from spilling out. He hadn't known Tony's true feelings like this, covered in (truthful) sarcasm as they may be. It's not what he expected the other man to say.

And it's concerning. Deeply concerning, if the brunet has been drowning like this without talking to any of them. Regardless of how he feels about Steve.

But why hasn't Steve noticed sooner? That's perhaps the worst part of it. He feels like he should have seen the spiral, seen at least part of Tony's suffering so that he might have been able to help.

"I had no idea," he finally says. "I had no idea you were feeling this way, or that something was wrong. But I'm here. We're all here. You're one of the strongest people I know, and if I know anything else - it's that you've never let anything stop you before. Si let's figure out what's going on… and let me help you beat it. However we have to."

He reaches out with a hand, lays it on Tony's shoulder. "Like I said, I've got you. You're not alone, and this isn't going to get you."
