 I wanted to be a lot of things, but mostly, I wanted to be happy.

2. Do you still want to do that?

 Yeah. Happiness is important.

 Oh lordy. Um. Proably Martha Jones or Clary Fray. They both have their flaws, and they both refuse to be used as a substitute. 

4. If you could have a superpower which would it be?

 The ability to think of food and have it appear without any effort on my part.

 The Doctor, Sam Winchester, and my grandmother.

 I haven't taken enough risks in my opinion.

I’d travel the world and eventually build a time machine and travel even more worlds and galaxies and stuff and I’d do everything I’ve ever wanted to do.

So tell me this.. what would be the difference between your genuine response to the first question, compared to the one you just answered?

But let me guess first.. whatever you come up with as the answer, it will always be less exciting and more realistic than the one above. So what is it really that makes the difference? The fear of death? of failure? of screwing up somehow? Is it so impossible to think that you can travel the world, build time machines, and do everything that you've ever wanted to do? Why is it that when we are faced with an unlikely question with a good outcome like "what would you do if you could live forever", we come up with amazing answers that seem wishful, and when we are given the one with a bad outcome like "what would you do if you knew you were going to die tomorrow", we come up with not-so-big, almost compromising answers? And the funny thing is, between the two, it is more probable to not die forever than to die tomorrow. Yes, I am not crazy. What I mean is.. most people, people like us, we are probably going to live a long rest of our lives. Well yeah, we probably won't live forever, but 50 years, 100 years, that's a still quite a lot! The things you can do in that amount of time.. And yet, when given the choice between the two questions, it's like we think of dying tomorrow as the more serious question, the one we should be more concerned about. We would rather surrender and accept death as being more inevitable than living. Death, fear, fear of death, fear of losing something or someone, failing, bad thoughts, screwing up, reluctance, insecurity, loneliness, an empty hole, whatever you want to call it all.. I group it all the same. Why are we willing to give up so quickly.. is it really just because of the thought of reality? Our current situations in life and how we perceive them? The cards we are dealt, are they the only things hindering us from seeing more? Imagine a life without your reality. I know that sounds really abstract, (hell, this entire post a bit abstract..) but just imagine. And then ask yourself why you aren't living up to your imaginations, your dreams, or "whatever you want to call them".

Anyway.. there is no conclusion, sorry if you've read up to this point and were expecting one. Just observations. I don't usually write like this and to be frank, I feel kind of silly right now lmao.

I mostly hate the ugliness and the display. It’s like they tried too hard.

lol they really did. but i don't mind it. i prefer other layouts more but considering everything. they did a good job
