FELLOW GINTAMA ENJOYER!! And oh of course!! I love talking about my little guy! He's so silly! <3 I don't have a proper ref for him so I'll use these:

So Panchi is a criminal in Edo city! They're mostly just a pickpocket and does art forgery though so it's nothing too serious and usually used for comedic value.

In terms of backstory, They've been stealing to survive since they were a kid and would travel a lot to avoid getting caught and arrested. That is till one day they walk into Edo City and steal Gintoki's wallet...there was nothing in the wallet. Panchi looks at the empty wallet and then looks at Gintoki with Kagura and Shinpachi and immediately feels bad to they return the wallet and even give him some money. Their friendship then sparks from there <3 The two like to go out and drink strawberry milk together! And at some point the two begin to see each other as family even if neither will admit it-

They met Hijikata the same way too! Through the power of pickpocketing! All that Panchi found in his pocket was Mayo. Panchi was left very confused and Hijikata was left very frustrated because someone took his Mayo. After a few more pickpocketing attempts, Hijikata finally catches Panchi in the act and tries to arrest them but Panchi runs away successfully! Their dynamic is pretty much a game of cat and mouse-afnsbdbd

It's not all silly haha jokes though since the two do eventually have some serious moments! The first one being Hijikata finding a very beat up and unconscious Panchi and taking them somewhere safe and patching them up. I drew a bit of that scene recently actually! Panchi thanks Hijikata for saving them and that's the first time he sees Panchi's smile instead of their mischievous grin. Cue Hijikata oh. Moment! The whole situation ends with Panchi leaving without Hijikata noticing and leaving him a note thanking him again. The next morning Hijikata wakes up to the note and some mayo as a gift.

NACHO MY BEST FRIEND NACHO... ok so realistically he wouldn't really get a chance to mingle with either ning (bcs) or sol (brba) that much BUT in my beautiful mind palace where sol arrives at ABQ earlier and gets taken in by a very kind manuel varga who then lets them work at his upholstery shop for the time being, i think they'd get along really well with nacho.

meeting via his dad would be good brownie points because nacho comes off as more reserved, and i don't think they'd be in each others' circles naturally. i think he'd be wary of them at first, especially since they showed up out of nowhere. they might just be trying to take advantage of his dad's kindness. but he's also very perceptive, and once he knows they're genuinely just trying to rebuild their life in ABQ, he warms up to them. maybe even tries to teach them a few tricks when it comes to his father's business—he IS very skilled at sewing, after all. i can see sol make efforts to hang out more with nacho, and nacho sometimes actually trying to reciprocate, but there's always gonna be some distance between them.

i think sol eventually starts getting involved with some shady stuff some months after they've been working at manuel's. nacho finds out pretty easily; by then he has a steady foot in the game, and he kinda gets mad. they basically live under manuel's roof and doing that while in his house is putting manuel in danger, and nacho doesn't want that. sol gets ashamed cz he's right, tbh, but they're not stupid enough to be completely oblivious about what nacho's been up to, either. so they call him a hypocrite, and the two of them have a pretty nasty argument, which ends up with sol eventually packing up and leaving manuel's. (and it happens with a very tearful goodbye since manuel acted very fatherly towards them.)

they kinda don't interact much after that. i like to think they would bump into each other again at some point, and they'd just exchange looks or small nods or something. some part of sol still wants to try reaching out to nacho again, since technically he's the first friend they'd ever had in ABQ, but they don't really know how to. esp if at this point nacho is basically tuco's righthand man. tuco is scary and nobody wants to mess with him lmao

Oooohh!! That is...a Great question...one that I haven't decided on yet-anfnsfnsndj Methinks my s/i would be the one to confess their feelings first. They probably weren't expecting the feeling to be reciprocated so they had a plan to pass it off as another one of their jokes/usual teasing until Toshi said that the feeling was mutual

hello! i just wanted to drop in and say that it's alright to not hit the same marks as everybody around you. it's scary to feel like you're trapped within yourselfand that you can't outgrow the you from years ago, but you're older now and you HAVE changed, and you're still able to change too. everybody is able to change at any age in any way, but that in of itself is really intimidating as well. don't lose hope in yourself! there isn't an inherent reason for anybody to be born and live other than that that's just how nature works, so you get to choose for yourself what you want to make of yourself. and whatever you choose, it isn't going to happen overnight or even at a quick enough pace for you to notice, but just the little things count too. whether you start building up rituals for yourself or change something about the scenery around you, or if you start working on a project, things can and will be able to change even in mundane and seemingly inconsequential ways. it's not easy to change your mindset, but the fact that you're scared and you recognise that you want to change the way that things are right now is proof enough that you're the you that is living in the present rather than the past. i hope you take care of yourself as best you can! we're rooting for you! :3
