What I’m Reading: October

Really late with this one, sorry! Just moved to a new place and spent the last two weeks trying to get settled. Here’s October’s :)

Re-Reads:

1. The Brightest Lights (rearviewdreamer) - After watching yet another actor walk away with his Oscar, Louis is on the lookout for the role of a lifetime that might finally get him the one thing he has always wanted. He didn't think coming out of his self-proclaimed break to do another film would be all that difficult, but that was before he met his new co-star.

New Reads:

1. I Don’t Want to Close My Eyes (I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing) (hilourry) -  Louis is married to Liam and pregnant with his child. Liam isn't ready to be a father, but Dr. Harry Styles is more than willing.

2. With Nothing But Your T-Shirt On (crybaby) - Harry is a camboy and Louis has been an avid subscriber for a while before he finds out they attend the same university.

3. Ibiza Shore (dutty) - Zayn knows going on a reality show is a bad idea, especially when he's got a girlfriend back home who's cross with him more often than not, but he really wasn't prepared for just how out of hand things were going to get in Ibiza.

4. New Man (make_this_feel_like_home) - Louis Tomlinson is newly single for the first time in his adult life. He's just ended his relationship with his uni-sweetheart and things are messy to say the least. Zayn has never been good at coping, so when he flaunts his new man to Louis, Louis is less than surprised. He knows it's not going to last. Harry has horrible taste in food, drinks beer but inexplicably has a six-pack, owns the ugliest boots known to man-kind and has a really kind heart. Louis shouldn't still be so tangled up in his old life, and he definitely shouldn't be having regular conversations with his ex's new boyfriend... but things are messy.

5. We’re the New Romantics (lovefern) - High School AU where Louis pines and Harry is not who he seems to be. Featuring peanut butter banana milkshakes, motorcycles, and first times.

Our 2nd monthsary presenting LOVE FERN! ❤️

Term “Love fern” was adopted to movie how to lose a guy in 10 days. My friend used to joke about that before, coz in the movie it was a “deal breaker” if the love fern dies so does the relationship, lol. I told nina that i love quoting movies and i make jokes out of it. We’re not same here but she said she likes that i did that.

Anyway, yesterday was rough, we’re both emotional (not sure if i will include this but I wanted to be reminded on how much we choose each other even during tough times)

We talked about big things, they’re instances that i feel like she’s not ready for us (emotionally) but with her pure heart, she continue to remind me on how much she likes me, that she will process her own fears. I wish i can hug her during those phase coz i know she needed that over my words, but eventually we both come around and i promise to wait for her. I will wait for her. She’s the love of my life. And i know she’ll come around.

I wouldn’t want to spend monthsary with other partner, you’re all i wanted nina. Please stay strong love. 😘 I’m always here for you.

In choosing to look at love and relationship this year, I’m being pulled to more deliberate acts. Often when we set out to find love we look far outside of ourselves. Several years ago I found, truly honoring and expressing gratitude for every single thing created a lot more in my life. @mariekondo has a book on this for your home. I’d forgotten about this when I packed up and moved across the country, not settled into one place. My closet was a mess, non existent or just ignored. What does this have to do with finding love. Everything. You are everything you’ve ever strived to find, the relationship is whip-cream on top of the pie, an addition. Being grateful, honoring and loving yourself is the essence of the journey. Relationships have been my thing since, forever.
