Is there an author you have a love/hate relationship with? Nora Roberts is one of those authors that I sort of hate the plot lines and the missing character development but I love the romances and settings she creates in her books. I’ve read two of her other series and loved/hated them, and I saw this mass market copy on sale and just had to pick it up because I’m crazy. I’m halfway through the first book in the series and it has its good qualities, but it’s also lacking parts of a good story. The villain, for example, needs to have a reason for being evil and Nora’s villain is just evil to be evil.
