Big announcement: We will be changing the band name from “Bang Feather Bang” to “Loveless Romantics”! Though seemingly a big shift, this has been in conversation for awhile and we couldn’t be more excited! Esther LaVonne created BFB and worked hard for it but even she knew, all things must be outgrown eventually (Fun fact: there was a point she considered changing the band name to “The Racoons”.. it didn’t stick.) The band name has served us for a long time and has gotten us to the point we are at now, something we are forever grateful for, but it no longer represent the bands transition as writers and musicians. So, BFB will remain a legacy that includes EL, and it is time we journey past it. For the ones wondering, We know she would support the change. “Loveless Romantics” is a tag that has followed us for over a year now, right under our noses, and it couldn’t be a more perfect fit. We appreciate your continued support of us and of our latest single “My Last Request” (as we get it under the new band name soon). We hope you are as excited as we are! Tooooo excited for the @bangfeatherbang single to release Feb 23!! So many of you know what the band has been through and since @estherlavonne passed. It was hell trying to figure it all out. Music, life, staying out of trouble because it just kept following me. There’s so much really only my family knows and even then had to detach from 2 of them. A choice that makes every day slowly get rid of the voice that would always tell me I’d never be good enough... for anything. So to go through the different changes in the band and hundreds of songs till I felt happy and excited to share, feels rewarding. There’s a lot more losses than gain but it would be fucked up if I had no challenges. Also to be singing which is a new instrument I’ve properly practiced since I was always made to feel self conscious about my voice and now feeling like it’s sounds kinda fucking dope. Really can’t wait till y’all hear the track. We wrote and produced it ourselves cause we’re cool like that. #bangfeatherbang #mylastrequest #lovelessromantics #lifesnevereasy
