Do people not realize that Piper ends up with Larry....? As much as the fans want Piper to end up with Alex they need to realize that this is based on a true story. And as "terrible" as Larry is and as "wonderful" as Alex is, this isn't slash fanfiction. It's following an actual story that actually happened.

Dude, real life events is irrelevant at this point (trust me, I’ve read the book). In real life Piper Kerman met Nora (Alex) very briefly in prison and it’s described as a cathartic moment for her where she manages to forgive and “release” her for what she had Piper do and the consequences of that. 80% of the book is a love-letter to Larry, who is literally perfect throughout the entire book. Real life Larry is nothing like show Larry. Nothing! They aren’t even remotely following the book. And even if they were, people are free to think and ship however they like and I’m kind of miffed at your wording here tbh.
