How do you think Lily changed from disliking James to loving him? Was it one event or just slowly over time?

@rosielupin I think something happened that made her suddenly start noticing James as though for the first time. Maybe she found out he saved Snape. Maybe she saw him helping a Slytherin first year who was being bullied. She started watching without judging him, putting aside all the negative stuff Snape had been feeding her for years and his stupid past behaviour. And the more she saw, the more she liked. A lot. I mean in canon she noticed him even when she thought he was a git, so I think she already fancied him but was trying to ignore that? And then she realised he was actually a lovely person as well as being hot... and she was smitten 😉😍😘!!

B - A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind

I know you guys are probably going to roll your eyes, but I did not start out a Cullrian shipper. AT ALL. Dorian was with my Quizzy, so my OTP at the start was Dorian/M!Inquisitor which has a ridiculous amount of wonderful fanfics. (elidoo has one that’s magnificent, if you haven’t checked it out, you definitely should. Unf, that scene with them fighting still is one of my favorite fic scenes ever.) Then I just sort of reached a saturation point where I had read practically everything in that ship.

So I don’t know if you’ve seen that Tumblr post going around saying something like ‘Cullrian is a great ship because Dorian is suave and confident and you can imagine Cullen responding to this by tripping up stairs.’ That’s literally how I got into this ship. I moved to AO3, read Feathers by metaphlame, and it was all downhill from there :D

Q - A ship you’ve abandoned and whyIf we’re staying in DA--please don’t hate me--but Cullen/F!Inquisitor. There are a lot of AMAZING fics out there, but there’s A LOT in that ship and a lot of it seems....repetitive. I want Cullen with someone who can kick his ass into next Tuesday, and that’s what I was hoping for in that ship. I didn’t really get it in that ship, it was mostly Princess type Inquisitors. WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY FINE!!!! But I want more of a Cassandra than a Princess with Cullen. Outside of DA, I abandoned Stony if only because FrostIron is a much better ship in my opinion because dear God, Tony and Loki can sass each other for 100k and I’ll read it.
