Title: Wind in Dry Grass (WIP)
Rating: M
Pairing: Gen
Genre: Hurt/Comfort, Kidnapping, Sensory Deprivation, Coping Mechanisms
Warnings: TW for lots of mental angst, little explicit violence
Summary: When Wes stumbles on a robbery ring, they strip him and lock him in the basement with little water until they finish the job. It takes Travis a week to find him.
(All that's left was Wes's pride, because he couldn't muster up the energy for anything else, and pride was just a reaction anyways– what was he going to do with a reaction when there was nothing to react to? So really, all that's left was nothing. Nothing but the Once upon a time, before reality set in, and a disappointing plot line. Wes was so disappointed. He was disappointed in himself, for letting the shitty situation get to him; he was disappointed in the world, for having such shitty situations; he was disappointed at Travis, for being out of reach, all the way at the start of the story when Wes was falling over the end of it, desperately pinwheeling for balance without anything to hold onto except a rusty radiator. God, he wanted to hold onto Travis so much, so goddamn much.)
