#repost @anaturalobsession Heat Damage Update: SO, it's been like 2 months since my first wash when I knew the heat damage was real🔥😔 BUT, my curls have made a LITTLE come back 😁 Damage Control: I do my hot oil as a pre-poo. This allows me to smoothly detangle and I also massage scalp for 5-10min. Then I wash (I alternate poos among shea moisture, CD, and dark n lovely). My staple wash right now is back to @carolsdaughter Lisa's hair Elixir line. Then I do a protein treatment (always and only @aphogee 2 min reconstructor- for 5-6min) then I DC for no less than 2hrs. I also did 1 ACV rinse. The first time I've straightened my hair in almost a year...sigh...the left side is completely saturated w/ water, the right is just a lil wet.
