Our designer in Florence, Eliza, drew inspiration from the column shapes of the ancient Roman ruins to create the cylindrical-like heel. It’s rounded at the back but then actually comes to a point at the front, so it leaves a teardrop-shaped footprint. And it’s inset a few millimeters from the back, so it looks like it’s on a little ledge. It’s a shorter heel at 70mm [about 2.75 inches] so it’s incredibly easy to wear, but it’s still so feminine.
