15/30 (Day 7, very early) - so we're clear, sleeping with a small, fluffy blanket is totally mature if it was a birthday present. 14/30 (day 6) - Very happy and very tired after one of the best birthday parties of my life. Sushi and bubble tea and chocolate mint cupcakes in the cozy safety of my half-finished tiny house. There were different fancy solar powered twinkle lights, and a wonderful assortment of friends comfortably seated in a space you wouldn't think would hold us all, and @gen_darc read us her new short story, 'Spooky and Julio', only three hours later than intended. My dad was there, when I hadn't thought he would be. Same for my best friend, @moonglasses89 . I have gone into the big house, but (at 1:30 AM, mind you), I can still hear the voices of friends talking in the next room and outside. I am tired. I am happy. I am blessed. I hope I live a long time more (and that hasn't always been the case) but if I died tomorrow, it would still have been a good life. Thanks to all of you for making the first thirty years of my life the kind that make me hope for at least sixty more. #Jessamyn30 #lovemypack #tiredjess
