Really missed everyone today and the games. Thought I’d update you on our U12 girls from last weeks game. U12s (10) versed Jerra Joeys Teal (43) on Sat 7 Aug, thanks to the sponsorship of the W Wellness Centre. What a cracker game our U12s had against Jerra Joeys Teal. With two players down, our dynamic seven started the game with guns blazing. Each of them played their positions with determination and intent to win. Whilst not getting the win, the girls exceeded expectations with their ability to work as a team, follow guidance and adjust their gameplay accordingly. Dakota and Hannah P shared GD/GK, pressuring the ball and slowing down the gameplay. Both players got some lovely rebounds and intercepts, whilst feeding the ball down the court to assist their team mates. Indi flung herself across court, playing WD with tenacity and also intercepted a number of balls. Josie played excellent  in centre, creating options for her co-players, whilst also being a strong defensive presence. Her position was complimented by Sana (WA) who also helped bring the ball down the court, creating and utilising space well. Hannah O and Lil moved brilliantly around the circle, luring opponents out and then using the space for the goal. Well done to all of our girls, and a special mention to Eva and Charlotte who couldn’t play with us this week. Though you weren’t able to play, we thought of and missed you both. If you have never ‘floated’ before, look into having your first one at the beautiful W Wellness Centre. Amazing for decluttering a hectic mind.
