Morgause!
Why I like themShould I give all the reasons or just some? She's probably the most badass character in the entire show, with her chainmail and epic helmet removing skills and ridiculously sexy Old English and her tendency towards tornadoes and her kinky magical chain that tightens when you struggle. I love how she loved Morgana unconditionally and gave up everything she'd ever fought for to save her. I loved that the one time I've actually felt anything for Arthur was because of her, and that she's the only one who's ever tried to end Uther's reign with as little death as possible. I like the complete lack of personal space she thinks Morgana needs. I like her enjoyment of massive amounts of eyeliner and red dresses and pretty horses and late night trysts in the woods and magical jewelry and her wild plotting. And the fact that it's Emilia Fox. That makes all of the above even better. (omg I keep thinking about more and more... Has Morgause done something? I'm probably a fan of it, except for the thing talked about below this)
Why I don’tI don't like that she's left Morgana. I will not believe that she's completely gone, not ever! YOU CANNOT MAKE ME!!!!!!!!

Favorite season/movieI would say s3 since she's in it more, but I found her character so much more intriguing, and interesting from a moral stand point, in s2.

OTPMorgana/Morgause, obviously. Though I have so many Gwen/Morgana/Morgause feels, it's ridiculous. Hell, just feels of the potential that could have been Gwen/Morgause!

Head CanonAs said above, I don't believe Morgause would have just left Morgana alone like that. I think she had a plan, because she knew that her absence from her sister's life would drive her over the edge. Somehow, with all her resources in the underworld, she was able to get a dragon egg to Camelot (it's also handy that I never watched that episode, so if there was an actual reason, I don't know what it is, and don't tell me, I won't listen to you), somehow making it so that Aithusa would instinctively be protective of Morgana and find her when she most needed it. I see Aithusa sort of as a creation of the love that Morgause had for Morgana physically manifesting itself. (That would be the small Morgause headcanon I have... the other one could probably be used as a story for Paper Legends next year, and it may...)
