When I first started practicing meditation, I was confused about the why and the how...why meditate...why the breath...how do I stay present when my mind was all over the place. I didn’t know that the nature of mind is to wander off, lost in thoughts, emotions, reactivity, just to name a few. over time that I’ve learned to trust the practice, study the wisdom teachings of the Buddha, reflect in a heartfelt way on what is studied, notice how it’s reflected in daily life and open to life just as is, without adding drama, resisting or trying to control experience/life. Even these words can’t adequately describe this journey...I can say that it’s shifted how I interact with life...there is much less reactivity, less self doubt more ease and peace even in the midst of challenges. It is out of a trust, honor and love for this practice that I share it with all. It truly wakes us up out of our limiting beliefs and opens us up to what restores our connection to that which heals and connects. 🙏❤️#mindfulness #compassion #lovepractice #buddhadharmasangha #thesoftspot #wbmindfulness https://www.instagram.com/p/Bsl24H4HID_/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=178vmmbinl7yn
